CQ - Counter Sales Rep

Under the supervision of the Store Manager, this position is responsible for interacting with retail & wholesale auto parts customers to identify their needs, have excellent selling skills, and strengthen the overall relationship between Carquest Pacific LLC and the customer.  Heavy Duty Experience Preffered.

1. Take order from customers over the phone and in person. Customer orders should be processed with a high degree of accuracy.
2. Use the Exploris computer system for invoicing and catalog lookup of auto parts.
3. Actively log all lost sales in the Exploris system.
4. Assist in processing Weblink electronic orders.
5. Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs.
6. Operate at all times within company guidelines, policies and procedures.
7. Stock inventory and assist in housekeeping of the store and property.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Must have at least two (2) years of experience with automotive parts.
3. Must have excellent communication skills and proper business etiquette.
4. Must have good working knowledge of a aftermarket parts transactional system.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Walking and moving about on foot.
2. Handling: Picks up items; grasps and works with hands.
3. Lifting: Raises or lowers items up to 60lbs.
4. Reaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.
5. Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.
6. Standing: Remains in standing position if required to perform various functions of the job.
7. Vision: Read paperwork and files on the computer.
8. Talking: Communications by phone and in person.
